Board of Directors: The Board of Directors of the Chamber
of Commerce represent the business and professional leadership of
the community and the area.
The Board of Directors meet on the first Thursday of each month.
If there are any concerns, issues or suggestions which our Members
would like to be presented to the Board, they are asked to contact
the Chamber Office.

Office Facility: The Office is open from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00
p.m. Monday through Friday to provide service and information to our
Chamber Members and the business and residential community.
Member Pamphlets, Flyers and Business Cards are on display in the
office for visitors to acquire and also placed in all New Member Folders.

Member Roster: A classified Roster listing our Members, Contact
Names and Telephone Numbers is distributed to all Members.
Members are encouraged to copy and distribute the Roster within their
place of business for other colleagues and employees to utilize.

Member Profile: A detailed profile of our Members and their
services is distributed to all Members.

Membership Plaque: New Members receive a beautifully engraved
Membership Plaque purchased from Member, Gino's Awards. Our Members
are asked to display the plaque in a location visible to visitors
signifying their pride in being a Member of our Chamber.

Benefits & Services Brochure: Our Brochure which lists
our Benefits and Services is distributed to all Members. The Brochure
is available at the Chamber Office, The City of Bedford Heights Mayor's
Office, Economic Development Dept., Building Dept. and the Southeast
Bedford Library.

Member Referral System: A system in place which enables the
Chamber Office to refer Members to any potential customers regarding
their products and services. Members are encouraged to refer their
fellow Members to their business associates, employees friends and
neighbors.

Member to Member Benefit Program: A program in which Members
can offer percent discounts or dollar discounts on services rendered
or products purchased to a fellow Member.
Through this program, new business can be generated, savings can
be received and camaraderie can be established.
The MTM participant list is distributed to all Members to copy, display
and distribute at their place of business for fellow colleagues and
employees to utilize. The MTM list is also distributed at all meetings.

Group Health Insurance Program: A program which offers comprehensive
health coverage for Members utilizing Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield's
NOACC Chamber Plan. Membership in the Chamber is not required for
a FREE quote. When you qualify, Membership in the Chamber is

Group Workmen’s Compensation Program: A program which lowers
costs and provides excellent effective safety management by utilizing
the administrative service company provided for all Members. Membership
in the Chamber is not required for a FREE quote. When you qualify,
Membership in the Chamber is required. Contact Comprehensive Risk

General Meetings: Monthly meetings scheduled on the third
Thursday of the month providing a wide range of speakers and topics
important to our Members and the business community.Members are asked
to introduce themselves at all meetings and encouraged to bring their
business cards and any advertising materials to the meetings for display
and distribution.
A Meeting notice is mailed, e-mailed or faxed to all members and
mailed periodically to the non-member business community. Members
are asked to copy, display and distribute the notice within their
company.
Meeting and Event information is listed in the Chamber Newsletter
and in our two local newspapers; Member, the Bedford Sun Banner and
the Bedford Times Register.
General Meetings are not held in June, July or August.

Business After Hours: A networking opportunity for Members
and periodically non-members to come together in a casual atmosphere
for interaction and to promote the growth of business between fellow
business persons.
Members are encouraged to bring their business cards and any advertising
materials for display and distribution.

Meeting Sponsorship: An opportunity provided for Members to
promote their business and their services by sponsoring a meeting
at their facility or at a location of their choice.

Newsletter: A bi-monthly publication which provides information
to inform and service our Members. The Newsletter contains a President’s
Message, Chamber Roster, Meeting Calendar, Business Card Advertising,
Member Corner, Seminar and Workshop announcements and more.
Advertising Mail Flyer: Our Members provide their flyer; the Chamber
provides the labor, envelopes, etc. The flyer 8.5" x 11",
is included in a Chamber mailing for fifty dollars each mailing.

Annual Golf Outing: Our Outing, held during the month of June,
is our fun event of the year. The day is filled with fellowship, great
food and of course GOLF.
Included in the cost of the Golf Ticket is the Chamber Give Aways,
18 Holes of Golf with Power Cart, Continental Breakfast, Lunch and
Dinner.
Tee Sponsorship Signs are available for purchase and are displayed
on the Golf Course throughout the day.
A variety of Golf Games are scheduled for the day; Team Games and
Pink Ball just to name a few. A Reverse Raffle and 50/50 Prize
Raffle are held after dinner.

Business Card Advertising: A low cost vehicle for
Members to advertise in the newsletter. The cost is $10.00 for one
card for 1 Issue; $50.00 for one card for 6 Issues.

Member Corner: Members are acknowledged in the newsletter
if they have received an award, expanded their business and services
or received a promotion.

Mailing Label Sets: Chamber Member Labels and City
Business Labels are available for purchase by Members. A lost cost
vehicle for Members to mail out their advertising materials.
The Member Set cost is $5.00. The City Set cost is $10.00. If the
labels have to be mailed, mailing costs are charged.

Legislation: The Chamber receives weekly legislative information
from the Ohio Chamber of Commerce. This information is provided to
our Members at all meetings and forwarded when requested.

Ohio Chamber of Commerce: The Bedford Heights Chamber of Commerce
has been a Member of the Ohio Chamber since 1991. Our Membership enables
our Chamber to obtain and provide a multitude of information to our
Members.

Committees: Our Committee structure was created for
the Chamber to encompass and work for the needs of the Chamber and
the Business and Residential Community.
The Chamber welcomes Member delegates and/or designated representatives
to participate on one of the Chamber Committees; Membership, Business
& Community Development, Legislation, Education, Program and Events.

N.O.A.C.C. (Northern Ohio Area Chambers of Commerce): We
have been a Member of NOACC since 1996; an organization of 100 northern
Ohio Chambers of Commerce. Through our Membership, our Chamber has
been able to provide Group Worker's Compensation, Group Health Insurance
and additional benefits provided through NOACC for our members to
utilize.

meeting, held quarterly, to benefit the business community. Sponsored
by the City of Bedford Heights Economic & Community Development
Department.
Bedford City Schools District Business Advisory Council: Meetings
held by the school district to inform and involve the business community.

The State of The City: The annual State of the City address,
given by the Mayor of the City of Bedford Heights, is held to inform
our Members, business associates and the residents of the progress,
future and the programs provided by the City of Bedford Heights.
